QALQILYA, September 17, 2026 (WAFA) – A young man was shot in the leg with live ammunition today, Thursday, during an Israeli occupation forces raid on the city of Qalqilya.
Meanwhile, another young man with special needs suffered from suffocation caused by tear gas canisters, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
The Red Crescent reported that its teams treated the gunshot wound to the leg and transported the injured man to the hospital for treatment. They also treated the young man with special needs for suffocation resulting from tear gas inhalation and transported him to the hospital.
Separately, local sources reported that occupation forces launched a widespread raid and arrest campaign during their incursion into the town of Hajjah, east of Qalqilya, amidst a heavy military presence in the town.
Occupation forces continue their incursions into various cities, towns, and villages across the West Bank, involving home raids, arrests, and the firing of tear gas and live ammunition, resulting in injuries among the civilian population.
