She stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will lead the preparation of a comprehensive strategy to apply the conference’s recommendations on the ground.
Aghabekian also noted that 149 countries currently recognize the State of Palestine, with more expected to follow amid ongoing Palestinian diplomatic efforts.
In related comments, she welcomed Slovenia’s decision to halt arms trade with Israel, describing it as a “courageous and advanced step” that sends a strong message against Israel’s violations of international law.
She urged other European countries to adopt similar measures as part of a firm stance in support of Palestinian rights and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
