GAZA, May 30, 2025 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces issued new evacuation orders late Thursday night for several densely populated areas across the northern Gaza Strip, demanding that civilians immediately leave their homes and shelters.

Local sources confirmed that residents in Jabalia al-Balad and Al-Atatra in northern Gaza, as well as in the neighborhoods of Al-Shuja’iya, Al-Daraj, and Al-Zaytoun in Gaza City, were instructed to evacuate without delay.

These forced displacement orders come as Israeli air and artillery strikes continue to devastate the Gaza Strip. On Thursday alone, at least 70 Palestinians were killed—among them women and children—and many others were wounded in attacks across the enclave.

Gaza is currently facing a catastrophic humanitarian crisis. Since March 2, Israel has maintained a complete closure of all crossings, blocking the entry of food, medicine, fuel, and humanitarian aid. As a result, famine conditions have worsened and essential services have collapsed.

An estimated 1.5 million Palestinians—out of a population of approximately 2.4 million—have been left homeless, following the destruction of residential areas during Israel’s ongoing genocidal war.

Human rights organizations and UN agencies have repeatedly warned that these mass displacement orders, carried out under conditions of siege and bombardment, may constitute war crimes and violations of international humanitarian law.
