GAZA, September 21, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian child died on Monday morning from wounds sustained after being shot by Israeli forces in the southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources identified the child as Ismail Al-Bardawil, who succumbed to wounds inflicted by Israeli army's gunfire in Al-Mawasi area of Rafah.
With the death of Al-Bardawil, the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 11 has risen to 1,394, while more than 4,830 others have been injured. The number of bodies recovered from under the rubble has reached 831.
