Woman, two children injured by Israeli forces’ gunfire in Gaza

 

 

GAZA, September 20, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian woman and two children were injured by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire this evening in separate areas across the Gaza Strip.

Local sources said a woman sustained serious injuries after Israeli forces opened fire on her in the vicinity of Jabalia al-Balad.

A girl was also shot in the thigh west of Halawa refugee camp, while a boy was injured by Israeli drone fire east of Al-Bureij refugee camp, in central Gaza.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation naval boats opened fire toward fishermen in the vicinity of the seashore in the Al-Zahra area, in central Gaza.

Earlier today, medical sources said that the death toll from the Israeli occupation’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,910, while the number of injuries reached 174,935 since the start of the aggression.

They added that the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 1,393, with 4,822 injured, while 831 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
