GAZA, September 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Several citizens were injured—including a woman who sustained critical wounds—on Monday due to gunfire and shelling by Israeli occupation forces in the central and southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that a woman was critically wounded by occupation forces' gunfire directed at displaced persons' tents situated between Al-Bureij and Al-Maghazi camps in the central Strip; a young girl was also injured in the incident.
The same sources added that other citizens were injured by occupation artillery shelling targeting displaced persons' tents in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Yunis.
In the Halawa camp in the northern Gaza Strip, a woman was wounded by occupation forces' gunfire.
Additionally, two citizens were injured when occupation artillery targeted a home belonging to the Abu Al-Rous family in the "Block 12" area, east of Al-Bureij camp in the central Strip.
Separately, occupation gunboats are pursuing fishermen at sea, firing heavily in their direction and forcing them to leave the water.
