JERUSALEM, November 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities demolished several homes and a residential building in a town in occupied Jerusalem after forcing their owners to evacuate their belongings.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli forces’ bulldozers stormed the town and carried out the demolitions after compelling residents to empty their homes.
The demolished homes belonged to Ziad Ahmad al-Sheikh, Ghazi Ahmad al-Sheikh, Wael Samara, Murad Shammasneh, and Ahmad Walid al-Dali.
The governorate added that the demolitions displaced 20 Palestinians, while Israeli forces continue to force residents to vacate other homes in the town.
Israeli authorities deny Palestinians access to building permits in Jerusalem, demolishing their homes or forcing them to demolish them themselves. These practices are part of a systematic policy aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinians from the city and its surrounding areas while expanding settlements.
