RAMALLAH, November 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists set fire to several olive trees on Thursday evening in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that the colonists deliberately set fire to the olive trees one after another. Additional groups of colonists arrived from a nearby area as the fires broke out.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces raided the village and deployed across several areas. Accompanied by Israeli police and military forces, the troops fired live ammunition and briefly detained several Palestinians before later releasing them.
