Palestinians suffocate in Jenin-area clashes

JENIN, Sunday, December 12, 2021 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians suffocated today from tear gas fired by Israeli forces during clashes that broke out in the village of Rummanah to the west of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, according to local sources.

Sources told WAFA clashes broke out following an Israeli military raid into the village of Rummanah, during which forces fired tear gas canisters, stun grenades, and rubber-coated steel bullets towards residents and their homes, causing several people to suffocate.
