QALQILIYA, Monday, October 18, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli forces today denied Palestinian olive harvesters access to their groves, south of Qalqiliya city, according to a local official.
Mohammad Abu al-Sheikh, who monitors colonial settlement activities in Qalqilya district, told WAFA that Israeli forces prevented the farmers of the northern West Bank villages of Izbit Salman, Izbit al-Ashqar, 'Azzun 'Atma, Beit Amin and Sanniriya from reaching their olive groves located behind Israel’s apartheid wall although the latter obtained the special permits and applied for the coordination mechanisms to access their land.
He added that some 2,000 donums planted with olive trees are isolated by Israel’s apartheid wall in the southern part of Qalqiliya district.
