Clashes erupt in Nablus-area village, journalist injured, others suffocate

NABLUS, Wednesday, September 22, 2021 (WAFA) – A journalist was shot and injured in the head with a rubber-coated steel bullet, while several others suffocated during clashes that broke out today evening between Palestinian residents and Israeli forces in the village of Deir al-Hatab to the east of the Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, according to security sources.

Sources told WAFA clashes broke out in the village of Deir al-Hatab, during which Israeli forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades towards residents, shooting and injuring a journalist in the head.

Several others suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
