Toddler among civilians suffocating from Israeli teargas in Ya’bad

JENIN, Thursday, September 16, 2021 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian civilians, including a four-month-old toddler, sustained suffocation from teargas inhalation today as Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Ya’bad in the occupied West Bank province of Jenin, according to local sources.

Israeli army forces broke into the town, raided and searched a number of homes and confiscated the recordings of surveillance cameras, provoking clashes with Palestinian citizens.

The soldiers fired stun grenades and teargas at the protesters to disperse them, causing many cases of suffocations from gas inhalation among the local residents, including the four-month-old toddler who was identified as Sila Sami Abubaker.

The toddler was taken to a nearby healthcare center for medical treatment.
