BETHLEHEM,
Friday, August 27, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli forces dawn Friday opened fire at a
Palestinian vehicle driving in Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank,
according to security sources.
They
said that Israeli forces opened fire at the car as it was driving along Route
60, a main traffic artery connecting the West Bank districts of Hebron and
Bethlehem to Jerusalem, and chased it in the town, wounding the driver and two
other passengers and causing it to flip over.
They
added that the soldiers prevented Palestinian medics from reaching the injured
and providing them with first aid. The injured were eventually detained.
Meanwhile,
Israeli troops rounded up a minor after breaking into and ransacking his family
house in Deir Nidham village,
northwest of Ramallah.
The
raid triggered confrontations that saw the soldiers opening fire at local teens
who attempted to block their passage. No injuries were reported though.
Israeli
police also rounded up another Palestinian from the East Jerusalem neighborhood
of Bab al-Wad, as confirmed by the Wadi Hilweh Information Center.
