GAZA CITY, December 1, 2012 (WAFA) – A Palestinian critically wounded on Friday when Israeli soldiers opened fire at farmers attending to their land east of the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah died of his wounds on Saturday, according to hospital sources.
They said Muhammad Jargoun, 21, was fatally shot in the pelvis when soldiers stationed near the borders opened fire at a group of Palestinians who were checking out their land.
A second Palestinian injured during the 8-day Israeli onslaught on Gaza in November also died on Saturday of his wounds, said the sources.
They said attempts to save the life of Mustafa Abu Hasanien, from Bureij refugee camp, did not succeed and he died of his wounds.
The death of Jargoun and Abu Hasanien brings the total number of Palestinians killed during the Israeli attacks to 180 and the wounded to more than 1400, many of them are still critical.
