Hundreds of Injured Palestinians Need Urgent Treatment Abroad

GAZA, December 29, 2008 (WAFA)- At least 250 Palestinians injured in Israel's ongoing offensive on Gaza are in urgent need for immediate medical care in hospitals in Egypt or Israel, Medical sources in Gaza reported on Monday.

 

Head of emergency services in the Ministry of Health, Mo'awya Hassanin, said, 'at 345 citizens have been killed over the past three days of barbaric Israeli air strikes, adding that at least 1650 have been injured.'

 

More than 800 injuries have been treated in hospitals, yet the rest were unable to find vacant beds,' Hassanin said.
