PCHR: 3 Palestinians Killed, 28 Arrested in OPT

GAZA, December 4, 2008 (WAFA)- Three Palestinians including two children were killed by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) gunfire in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT), according to PCHR report.

In its weekly report on Israeli human rights violations in the OPT in between November 27- December 03 2008, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) said that IOF continued its attacks against Palestinian citizens and property in the OPT while a humanitarian crisis in taking place the Gaza Strip due to Israeli ongoing closure.

Three Palestinians, including two children, were killed by IOF in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The two children were killed by an air raid, while the third victim was extra-judicially executed by an IOF undercover unit.

 

Ten Palestinians and three international human rights activists were wounded by IOF in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

 

Israeli troops conducted forty five military attacks on Palestinian communities in the West Bank and two into the Gaza Strip, in which they arrested twenty Eight Palestinians, including a child, in the West Bank.

 

Israeli Occupation Authorities have continued to impose a total siege on the OPT, due to which the Gaza Strip is suffering a serious humanitarian crisis.

 

Israeli Occupation Authorities have continued to take measures aiming at the Judaization of Jerusalem, the process in which they demolished three houses.

 

Colonization activities in the West Bank and Jewish colonizers have continued to attack Palestinians and their property; they desecrated a mosque in Turmusa'ya village north of Ramallah and uprooted fifty olive trees in Ras Karkar village near Ramallah.
