Citizen Slain, 4 Wounded, 5 Arrested by IOF in Khanyounis
KHAN YOUNIS, April 9, 2008, (WAFA)- Medics declared early Wednesday that a citizen was killed and four others were wounded by Israeli Occupation Forces IOF in al-Qarara town of Khanyounis city, southern Gaza Strip.
They added that the citizen; Mohammed Shamya 24, was killed and four others were wounded when an Israeli undercover unit, backed by warplanes and tanks, stormed the eastern area of the said town amid intensive fire shooting against the citizens' houses.
Shamya was killed when Israeli warplanes fired three missiles against the citizens. The Israeli troops as well arrested five citizens just before they bulled back from the area.
