President Abbas Says Only Peace Based on Justice can Bring Peace for Palestine, Israel
RAMALLAH, November 15, 2007 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas said Thursday that only peace based on injustice can guarantee security for both Palestine and Israel, not building separation walls and colonies.
During a press conference in ramallah following his meeting with the Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko, President Abbas said historic Palestine will be a home for two states; Palestine and Israel.
He hailed the Ukrainian efforts and stances which support the Palestinian people and their struggle for freedom, thanking his guest for inviting him to visit Ukraine.
President Abbas also stressed on leadership's adherence to the Road Map, the Arab peace initiative and the vision on he US President George Bush.
For his part, President Yushchenko announced he made a decision to a open a representation office for the Palestinian National Authority in his country to bolster the Palestinian-Ukrainian relations.
