7 Killed, Hundreds Wounded by Hamas During Arafat’s 3rd Commemoration in Gaza
Gaza, November 12, 2007 (WAFA) - At least seven citizens were killed and over 200 wounded in Gaza when Hamas militants attacked tens of thousands of citizens who were commemorating the third anniversary of late President Yaseer Arafat’s death, medical sources said.
The sources told WAFA that two other citizens are clinically dead. Witnesses said hamas miltants opened fire at the participants when they started to leave the ceremony.
They added that the militants shot fire from the Islamic university and the Complex of the Ministries, which overlook the place where the ceremony was held.
