President Receives Solana in Riyadh
RIYADH, March 28, 2007, (WAFA)-President Mahmoud Abbas received Wednesday in his residence, in Riyadh, European Union's (EU) High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Chief, Mr. Javier Solana.
President discussed with Solana ways to push the peace process that lead to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and lift siege imposed on the Palestinian people after the formation of a national unity government.
President also stressed on the importance of the European role to move the peace process and support the Palestinian people and his just cause.
