President Arrives Riyadh to Head Palestinian Delegation in Arab Summit
RIYADH, March 27, 2007, (WAFA)-President Mahmoud Abbas arrived Tuesday afternoon to the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to head the Palestinian delegation to the Arab Summit in its ninth regular session due to be held tomorrow. Prime Minister Ismail Haniya accompanied President on the plane.
King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz was at the top of President's receivers at the Airport Riyadh air base, Saudi Crown Prince, Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation, Mr. Amre Moussa, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Mr. Ziad Abu Amr, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Mr. Jamal Al-Shubaki, Palestinian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
The delegation includes Secretary of PLO Executive Committee Mr. Yasser Abed Rabbo, Head of the PLO Negotiations Affairs Department, Dr. Saeb Erikat, Dr. Ziyad Abu Amr, Minister of Foreign Affairs , Dr. Salam Fayyad, Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed Dahlan, President 's adviser for National Security Affairs and Mr. Hussein Abdul Khaliq, the Permanent Observer of Palestine to the League Arab.
