RAMALLAH, Tuesday, June 30, 2020 (WAFA) – A new record of 255 new cases of coronavirus was confirmed in the West Bank in less than 12 hours, bringing the overall total of corona cases in Palestine to 2698, today said the Ministry of Health.

It said 181 cases were recorded in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, the current epicenter of the disease, including 65 in the city itself, 53 in occupied East Jerusalem, 11 in the northern West Bank district of Nablus, five in Bethlehem area, two in Ramallah, two in Jericho and one in Tulkarm.

While most cases are mild, 13 cases are currently in intensive care including three attached to respirators and considered critical.

A total of 625 cases have recovered and eight Palestinians have died of the disease in Palestine, which includes East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
