SALFIT, July 28, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists established a new colonial outpost on Tuesday on land belonging to the town of Yasuf, east of Salfit.
The head of the Yasuf village council, Jumaa Abdel Fattah, told WAFA that dozens of colonists set up a tent in the Nasba area, located northeast of the town, approximately 50 meters from Palestinian homes.
He added that the area has been subject to ongoing colonist violations and includes two houses threatened with demolition. He warned that the establishment of this new outpost is part of a policy of imposing colonial facts on the ground and restricting the movement of residents.
The newly established outpost is the third set up by Israeli colonists in the Salfit governorate over the past two days.
