Israeli airstrike on Rafah kills two Palestinians

 

RAFAH, February 18, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli warplanes late Saturday night carried out an airstrike on a location east of Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip, killing two Palestinian teenagers, according to medical sources.

Salem Mohammad Sabah, and Abdullah Abu Sheikha, both aged 17, were killed in the airstrike which targeted Salam neighborhood in Rafah.

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery bombed a location in Nahda neighborhood in Rafah, injuring two Palestinians, one of them seriously. The two were moved to Abu Yousef en-Najjar hospital in the city for medical treatment.

Earlier on Saturday night, Israeli warplanes bombarded multiple locations across the besieged Gaza Strip.

An Israeli F16 fighter jet launched missiles at three locations east of Gaza city, causing damages to local citizens’ homes, but there were no reports of casualties.

Israeli fighter jets also carried out two airstrikes targeting a farm east of Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza and the Shuhada junction in the city.

Warplanes also hit locations in Beit Hanoun, to the northeast of Gaza, and in Khan Younes, in southern Gaza Strip.
