Colonists steal 300 sheep, a horse near Ramallah

 

RAMALLAH, September 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists stole approximately 300 sheep and a horse early Tuesday morning after infiltrating the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah.

Local sources reported that colonists stole about 300 sheep and a purebred Arabian horse from the farm of Yousef Fawaz Awawdeh in the Al-Hayyan area of ​​Deir Dibwan.

According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, colonists carried out 628 attacks last August. These attacks were concentrated in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate (157 attacks), followed by Nablus (137), Hebron (120), Bethlehem (73), Tubas (40), Jenin (36), and Jerusalem (31).

Colonists' violence resulted in the killing of 17-year-old Karim Sanad Shalalda, who was shot by settlers during an attack on the Hamroush area in the town of Sa'ir, Hebron governorate. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed by settler gunfire since the beginning of the year to 25.

Attacks by colonists caused direct harm to 164 citizens, including 20 children and 17 women. The highest number of victims was recorded in the Hebron governorate (68 citizens), followed by Nablus (50) and Ramallah and Al-Bireh (23).
