HEBRON, September 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists cut and burned the power cable supplying the "Wadi al-Rakhim" area, south of Yatta, on Tuesday, resulting in a power outage for the area.

In a related development, Israeli occupation forces forced a resident, Issa Mas'af, and his family to evacuate and leave their home in the Hawara area, east of Yatta.

Local sources reported that occupation forces compelled the family to leave their dwelling; the family had previously been expelled from the site two days earlier following attempts by colonists to seize the home in recent days.

These attacks occur amidst an escalation of colonists' violence—carried out under the protection of occupation forces—in Masafer Yatta and areas south of Hebron. These assaults include attacks on residents' property and livelihoods, the disruption of essential services, and attempts to seize land and homes, all aimed at forcing the local population to leave their lands.
