JERUSALEM, September 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities issued orders today, Tuesday, banning three Jerusalemite citizens from the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Jerusalem Governorate stated that occupation authorities served ban orders—valid for six months—to Yousef Al-Rashq (from the town of Silwan), as well as Suhaib Afana and Naseem Khalil Hamada (from the town of Sur Baher).
It added that the occupation authorities transmitted the ban orders to the three citizens via WhatsApp, accompanied by maps delineating the areas they are prohibited from accessing; these restricted zones encompass all courtyards and entrances of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Governorate noted that these measures are part of the occupation's ongoing escalation against Jerusalemite citizens, as well as its attempts to impose restrictions on presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque and to threaten freedom of movement and religious practice.
