BEIRUT, September 14, 2026 (WAFA) — A Lebanese citizen was killed today after being shot by Israeli occupation forces, as Israeli forces continued their artillery and airstrikes on several towns and areas in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that a resident of Baraachit was killed after being shot by Israeli forces while they were targeting the town with machine-gun fire.

In the Jezzine district, Israeli warplanes carried out a strike targeting the Jarmaq road. The town of Mansouri also came under intermittent Israeli artillery fire, while Israeli warplanes struck several homes in the town with two missiles.

In the Nabatieh area, Israeli artillery shelled an area between the towns of Kafr Tebnit and Nabatieh al-Fawqa, while warplanes carried out strikes on Kafr Tibnit, Haneen, and al-Qantara.

In an attack affecting the education sector, Israeli forces destroyed the Martyr Mahmoud Faqih Public School in Kafr Tebnit.
