BETHLEHEM, September 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists uprooted barbed wire today, Tuesday, surrounding lands in the village of Al-Rashayda, east of Bethlehem.

Local sources told WAFA correspondent that colonists stormed the "Baniyat Sahba" area, north of Al-Rashayda, and began uprooting barbed wire surrounding lands situated between Al-Rashayda and the "Ma'ale Amos" settlement—lands owned by residents of Al-Rashayda and Al-Ta'amra.

It is noteworthy that colonists had pitched a tent in the area four days ago in an attempt to establish a settlement outpost. Recently, they have escalated their attacks against the residents of Al-Rashayda village, including assaults on homes and shepherds, as well as the theft of sheep.
