The three papers said more than 50 Palestinians were injured when Israeli soldiers stationed on the border with Gaza opened fire at the participants in the weekly Return March protests, while in the West Bank, soldiers opened fire and injured several participants in the weekly anti-settlements, anti-wall protests.
Al-Quds said in a story that Hamas has warned Israel against harming civilians participating in the Return March protests on the Gaza border.
The three papers also said the European Union stressed that it will not recognize any changes on the 1967 lines, including in Jerusalem, as came in the headlines in al-Hayat al-Jadida and al-Ayyam, while al-Quds made reference to the joint statement by France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom expressing concern regarding remarks by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on annexing the occupied Jordan Valley.
Al-Ayyam said on this that Netanyahu actually was going to declare plans to annex the entire West Bank and then went back on this under pressure from his security officials.

Al-Quds said that Lebanon has arrested a former military official on suspicion of spying for Israel.
Al-Hayat al-Jadida said Arab member of the Israeli parliament Aida Touma has called on the Israeli government legal advisor to investigate reports of settler parties financing a campaign to get the Palestinians in Israel to boycott elections.
Al-Ayyam said, based on two human rights groups, that Israel considers Gazans living in the West Bank as illegal.
It quoted UNRWA commission general talking about an unprecedented campaign against the existence of the United Nations Palestine refugee agency.
