Israeli colonist attempts to run over two brothers south of Hebron

HEBRON, May 18, 2025 (WAFA) – An Israeli colonist attempted to run over two Palestinian brothers on Sunday at the entrance to the Al-Baraka area, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank, according to local sources.

Activist Osama Makhamera told WAFA that the colonist pursued Sakher and Osama Dababseh with his vehicle near the entrance of the Al-Baraka area, east of the town of Yatta, as they were on their way to work. The brothers managed to escape unharmed.

This incident comes amid a rise in attacks by Israeli colonists across the occupied West Bank.

Just two days earlier, a two-year-old Palestinian girl sustained a head injury after being struck by an Israeli colonist while returning home with her mother near an Israeli military checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Shuhada Street in central Hebron.
