TULKARM, May 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian brothers were shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces this morning while attempting to enter their home in Tulkarm refugee camp to retrieve some belongings, amid a continuing military siege on the camp.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli soldiers opened fire directly at the brothers, identified as Muhannad and Qusai Othman, injuring them in their legs.
The assault comes as the Israeli military continues its aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camp for the 112th consecutive day. The siege on Nour Shams refugee camp, also in the Tulkarm area, has now entered its 99th day, with a consistent escalation of field operations.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue to tighten their grip on the southern entrance of the city, erecting a military checkpoint beneath the Jabara Bridge. They stopped vehicles in both directions, conducted searches, and scrutinized the identification of passengers.
