RAMALLAH, Saturday, February 16, 2019 (WAFA) – Today‘s weather is cloudy, cold and rainy along with thunderstorms and hail expected on some areas. Wind is southwesterly to westerly, active and gusty and sea waves are high, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 4°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 9°C and a low of 3°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 10°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Sunday’s temperature is expected to slightly rise but remains few degrees below the annual average for this time of the year with partially cloudy skies and slight chance of rain.

A drop in temperature is expected for Monday, which rises again on Tuesday with scattered rain expected on various areas along with thunderstorms.

PMD warns people against floods in low areas and valleys, gusty winds, low visibility due to fog formation and slippery roads.
