NABLUS, May 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Dozens of people suffered from suffocation from tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces during their raid on Askar al-Qadeem refugee camp, east of Nablus, on Tuesday.
WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces targeted school students, citizens, and journalists with tear gas canisters, causing them to suffocate.
Among them was WAFA News Agency driver, Mohammad Aliwi, while the agency's crew was covering the events there.
He indicated that the occupation forces stormed Askar al-Qadeem refugee camp, deployed in several neighborhoods, closed its entrances, and prevented journalists from remaining in the area.
