Colonists attack Palestinian citizens' vehicles south of Nablus

NABLUS, May 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked on Tuesday evening Palestinian citizens’ vehicles near the village of al-Sawiya, south of Nablus, according to local sources.

Sources reported that a group of colonists threw stones at vehicles traveling on the road connecting Nablus and Ramallah, near the al-Sawiya junction, causing damage to several cars.

Israeli occupation forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to the village and prevented the movement of citizens.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.

The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.

Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
