RAMALLAH, May 20, 2025 (WAFA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday that the Israeli bombing of the Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics in the Gaza Strip is a flagrant violation of international law and humanitarian norms.
In a statement, Kuwait expressed "the State of Kuwait's strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation forces' targeting of the Hamad Hospital for Prosthetic Limbs in the Gaza Strip."
The Kuwaiti Ministry further considered the deliberate targeting of the hospital a "flagrant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and humanitarian norms."
It warned against "the military escalation by the occupation forces and their continued perpetration of systematic crimes against the defenseless Palestinian people without deterrence or accountability," according to the statement.
It stressed the need for the international community and the Security Council to assume their responsibilities in protecting the Palestinian people, their institutions, and civilian facilities, and "ensuring the immediate delivery of aid and humanitarian relief supplies to them while respecting their right to a safe and dignified life."
