RAMALLAH, May 16, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday conducted multiple predawn raids across the West Bank and detained a total of 24 Palestinians, said the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and WAFA correspondents.

In Ramallah district, Israeli forces raided al-Mughayyir village, northeast of the city, detaining two Palestinians.

They also conducted a raid into Jalazon refugee camp, north of Ramallah, detaining a Palestinian, who was reportedly a former prisoner.

Another Palestinian was detained in a subsequent raid into Beitin village, northeast of Ramallah.

Forces detained another during a similar raid into Kafr Ni‘ma town, northwest of Ramallah.

PPS added that a sixth Palestinian was detained during other raids across Ramallah and al-Bireh district.

Among the raids, forces stormed al-Masayef neighborhood of Ramallah, ransacking a number of apartments. No arrests were reported though.

Meanwhile, forces raided Madama village, south of Nablus, detaining three Palestinians, including two 16-year-old minors.

PPS added that two others, including a former prisoner, were detained from the northern West Bank district of Nablus.

Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, forces detained two Palestinians from Bir al-Basha village, southwest of Jenin.

A 15-year-old Palestinian minor was detained while he was on his way with his father to their home in Qalqilia city.

Moreover, forces detained three Palestinians from Bethlehem district in the southern West Bank.

In Hebron district, forces raided Shuyukh al-Arrub village, north of the city, detaining two Palestinians.

Another Palestinian, reportedly a 16-year-old minor, was detained from the neighboring al-Arrub refugee camp and two were detained from Jericho district.

In East Jerusalem district, police detained two Palestinian brothers after storming their family home in Shufat camp.
