BEIRUT, June 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health announced on Sunday that the cumulative death toll from the Israeli war on Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 3,613, while the number of injured has reached 11,072.
According to figures released by the Public Health Emergency Operations Center, the highest casualty rates were recorded in the Nabatieh and South governorates.
The data also showed that 17 hospitals have sustained damage and three hospitals have been forced to shut down. In addition, 166 attacks against ambulance and emergency response teams were documented during the conflict.
The attacks resulted in the deaths of 131 healthcare workers and injuries to 386 others. Since the outbreak of the war, 169 ambulances and 36 emergency medical centers have also been damaged, according to the ministry.
