JORDAN VALLEY, June 7, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission and the Tubas Governorate on Sunday obtained a precautionary court order suspending the demolition of residential structures and livestock shelters in the northern Jordan Valley.
Moataz Bisharat, the official responsible for settlement-related affairs in Tubas Governorate, said the injunction covers dozens of residential structures and livestock shelters belonging to ten Palestinian families.
The structures had received demolition notices from Israeli authorities several months ago.
According to Bisharat, the court order temporarily prevents the implementation of the demolition orders while legal procedures continue.
