RAMALLAH, June 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Groups of Israeli colonists on Sunday entered the vicinity of Palestinian homes in the eastern section of the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, under the protection of Israeli forces.

Local sources told WAFA that the colonists entered the area with their cattle and approached residential homes, triggering tensions among local residents.

The sources said the incursion led to confrontations between Palestinians and the colonists, while Israeli forces provided protection to the colonists and assaulted residents in the area of the clashes, contributing to an escalation of tensions.

Al-Mughayyir and its surrounding areas have been subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli colonists and forces, including incursions into residential and grazing areas and assaults on residents and their property. Palestinian officials say such actions are part of efforts to pressure local communities and seize additional land for colonial expansion.
