GAZA, June 7, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian fisherman was killed on Sunday morning after Israeli naval forces opened fire on a fishing boat off the coast of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli naval vessels fired live ammunition at the fishing boat while it was operating in the waters off Deir al-Balah, killing the fisherman on board.
The victim was identified as Mohammad Mousa Abu Jiab.
