TUBAS, June 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities have issued a military order placing 1,292 dunums of Palestinian-owned land in the Tubas governorate of the occupied West Bank under military control, according to local officials.
Mu'taz Bisharat, who monitors settlement activities in Tubas, said the order targets lands located within natural basins numbered 230, 235, 237, 238, 253, 254, and 255 in the governorate.
He explained that the military order stipulates the seizure of a total area of 1,292 dunums under the pretext of military use.
The confiscation comes amid ongoing Israeli actions aimed at taking control of additional Palestinian land in the northern Jordan Valley and the Tubas area through various military and security-related justifications.
