BETHLEHEM, June 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles shortly after midnight south of Bethlehem, causing panic among passengers, according to local and Palestinian security sources.
The sources said a group of settlers gathered at the junction leading to the settlement of Efrat, which is built on Palestinian land, blocked the main road, and threw stones at passing vehicles, causing panic among motorists in the area.
The incident comes amid a recent escalation in settler attacks across the Bethlehem governorate. On the previous day, settlers assaulted a Palestinian man, his son, and two women while they were present on their land in the town of Al-Khader.
