RAMALLAH, June 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation machinery on Sunday began extensive excavation and land-leveling works in the area of Iraq al-Dair, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli forces began excavation works in the area, located between the settlements of Ma'ale Adumim and Mishor Adumim, as part of a new settlement project targeting Palestinian-owned lands.
The governorate warned that such works form part of ongoing expansion efforts aimed at imposing new facts on the ground in the occupied West Bank.
