BETHLEHEM, July 14, 2017 (WAFA) – A Palestinian Friday was shot dead and two others sustained gunshot wounds during clashes with Israeli forces in Dheisheh Refugee Camp, in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, security sources told WAFA.
Clashes reportedly broke out between the camp’s residents and Israeli forces during a military raid into the camp; forces used live ammunition against the residents, shooting and injuring three, including a youth who succumbed to his critical wounds at a hospital in Bethlehem shortly after.
The youth was identified as Barra’ Hamamdeh, 21.
Three Palestinians were reportedly detained during the raid.
