RAMALLAH, July 13, 2017 (WAFA) - Consumer price index (CPI) for Palestine decreased in June 0.96% compared with the previous month, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Thursday.
It decreased by 1.61% in Gaza Strip, by 0.90% in the West Bank and by 0.29% in the parts of Jerusalem under Palestinian control.
June CPI decreased by 0.68% compared with the same month of the previous year. It decreased by 1.66% in Gaza Strip and by 0.41% in the West Bank, while it increased by 1.38% in Jerusalem.
The PCBS said CPI increased during the first half of 2017 by 0.45% compared with the same period of the previous year. It increased by 3% in Jerusalem and by 0.73% in the West Bank, while it decreased by 0.11% in Gaza Strip.
