RAMALLAH, January 18, 2016 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is cloudy, cold, and dusty, with temperatures significantly dropping. Possible scattered rain showers are expected over the northern areas, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.
Winds are southwesterly and active. Sea waves are high.
A further drop in temperature is expected on Tuesday, remaining cold, cloudy, and dusty. Rain showers are expected to fall over different areas.
A slight rise in temperature is expected on Wednesday, yet remaining partially cloudy and cold. Sporadic rains are expected to fall over some areas.
Temperatures are anticipated to further rise on Thursday, becoming above its seasonal average by almost 4 degrees Celsius.
The weather department warned the elderly, children, as well as patients with allergies or asthma against direct outdoor exposure to dust. It also warned against strong winds and low visibility caused by the dust.
