Israeli forces set up military checkpoint at main entrance near Ramallah, disrupting daily mobility of Palestinians

RAMALLAH, July 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces erected a military checkpoint Monday morning at the main entrance of Turmusaya, a town located north of Ramallah, severely restricting the movement of residents in the area.

According to local sources, Israeli soldiers stopped and searched dozens of vehicles, inspecting passengers' identity cards and delaying traffic in both directions. The checkpoint, placed at the town’s only main access point, also affects residents from the nearby villages of Abu Falah, al-Mughayyir, and al-Mazra’a ash-Sharqiya, impacting the daily mobility of thousands of Palestinians.
