Israeli forces kill two Palestinians, injure dozens waiting for aid in southern Gaza

GAZA, July 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian civilians were killed and several others injured on Monday after Israeli forces opened fire on a group of people desperately waiting for humanitarian aid in southern Gaza, according to WAFA correspondent.

The latest Israeli attack on Palestinians awaiting humanitarian aid comes on the heels of a deadly Sunday, during which 94 people were killed in similar incidents while trying to access food and essential supplies.

Since May 27, 2025, nearly  995 Palestinians have been killed, 6,011 injured, and 45 remain missing in what have been described as "death trap" ambushes targeting aid distribution points across Gaza.

Since October 7, 2023, more than 200,000 Palestinians have been killed or injured, the vast majority of them women and children. Over 9,000 remain missing, and mass starvation has taken hold, exacerbated by the destruction of infrastructure and obstruction of aid.
