QALQILYA, July 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Monday issued a notice to seize seven dunums of land from the village of Jinsafut, east of Qalqilya, in a parent prelude for constructing and expanding a new military road.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the planned road will serve the illegal outposts of Nofi Menachem and Ramat Gilad,
In its mid-year report, the commission documented a total of 11,280 violations and attacks committed by Israeli forces and colonists against Palestinians and their property during the first half of 2025.
The report also noted that colonists established 23 new outposts — most of them agricultural or grazing-based — across several governorates, including Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron, Qalqilya, Tubas, and Jerusalem. These actions reflect a systematic policy of land seizure and de facto annexation.
Israeli forces issued 36 military seizure orders and one confiscation order for alleged road expansion, effectively placing over 800 dunums of privately-owned Palestinian land under Israeli control.
